Brief introduction:New China Pao was first issued on November 7th, 1940 (29th year of the R.O.C). Its was formerly known as Qiao Guang Daily, a newspaper for the headquarter of Koa national movement,which was a Japanese secret service agency in China. The newspaper was issued on daily basis, with a circulation of 50,000 copies. It focused on news of so-called “Holy War” and frequently publishing translated remarks and reports from Japanese newspapers. The newspaper stopped publishing after Japan surrendered.
